Admissions
Staff members perform the necessary assessments and testing as ordered by your child’s psychiatrist to assure an individualized master treatment plan positions your child or adolescent and family for the best possible outcome.
Components of Assessment
Testing may include all or some of the following:
- Psychiatric evaluation
- Psychological and neuropsychological testing
- Physical and neurological examinations
- Nursing assessment
- Laboratory or other medically indicated testing
- Thorough review and analysis of available prior assessments
There may also be additional screenings or assessments for:
- Educational services
- Recreational
- ROPES
- Nutritional
- Speech and language
- Sexual trauma or sexual behavior problems
- Chemical dependency
